Team Study of a 4-Storey Building with Bridge

A complete team study covering the entire lifecycle of a four-storey building connected by a bridge.

Structural system & load analysis

The structural system was fully sized, with analysis of every load case required by the Eurocodes:

• Load calculations (dead loads, live loads, snow loads, wind actions, seismic actions, load combinations)
• Section selection
• Construction schedule
• Building cost estimate
• Crane selection

Construction management

Beyond the structural design, the study extended to site organisation, cost estimation and the project schedule - giving a full picture of how a project moves from the drawing board to completion.

My contribution

Structural modelling and analysis in Robot Structural Analysis, production of technical drawings in AutoCAD, and analytical verification calculations.
