About me

Georgios Lychoudis

I am a 4th-year Civil Engineering student specialising in Structural Engineering at the University of West Attica, with a solid background in design and structural analysis software (AutoCAD, Revit, Robot Structural Analysis).

I am looking for a job opportunity at a construction company or design office, as well as in surveying studies and works, in order to apply my technical knowledge to real projects.

I am characterised by discipline, consistency and teamwork - values I have cultivated through sports, scouting and volunteering.

My journey

2023

1st year - Building materials & technical drawing

Laboratory work in Building Materials, Engineering Geology and Technical Drawing. First semester projects in Architectural Design, Descriptive Geometry and MATLAB programming.

2024

2nd year - Surveying & digital drafting

Laboratory work in Geodesy and Geodetic Applications using a total station and a level - which led to the topographic survey of a building at the UNIWA campus. In parallel, labs in “CAD Methods in Civil Engineering Projects” and Building Construction, plus seminars at IEK ALFA.

2025

3rd year - Structural analysis & my own tools

Analysis of statically indeterminate structures, steel structures, soil mechanics and semester projects in Hydraulics and “Computational Solution Methods” (advanced MATLAB). In parallel, I developed custom AutoLISP commands to automate drafting in AutoCAD.

2026

4th year - Complete design studies & job search

Reinforced concrete, geotechnical works, construction site organisation and a Finite Element lab for frame structures. Deliverables: the complete study of a 4-storey building with a bridge and an urban planning study in Glyfada. Currently seeking a job - expected graduation 2028-2029.
